About Us
Our founding story
Our company was founded in 2019 by the initiative of a group of scientists from São Paulo State Unversity motivated to bring science to people. Through extensive validation in partnership with the pharmaceutical industry Roche and Biominas Foundation, Crop created its business model and raised private and government funds.
Crop Biolabs is an integrated external R&D facility, specialized in a variety of preclinical and analytical services, external quality assessment, phenotypic and molecular assays for advanced therapeutics, pharmaceutical, cosmetic ingredients and sanitizing companies, in addition to providing claim substantiation and safety evaluations from discovery to regulation for new solutions and bespoke products. Our services are available to private companies, academic institutions and government research centers. We offer multidisciplinary experience in molecular biology and cell culture to work on developments of different levels of technological maturity. From discovery to preclinical, from screening to validation. Together with our customers, we made it possible for several products to reach the market. Our mission is to collaborate with the technological maturation of products and developments in life sciences, either with a punctual service, or with the complete R&D solution: from idea to impact.
